God’s vision for a Christian school in Dewsbury was given to the Dewsbury Gospel Church in the early 1990’s. A sound basis for this was formed using Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) material (www.christian-education.org (UK) & www.aceministries.com (US)).

The school opened with 8 students in November 1994

Over 100 students have gone through the school since opening

In February 1999 the school moved from the Church premises to new purpose-built premises with many parents being involved in this project

The school is temporarily back in its' original home with a move to a much larger venue planned for 2009

The school received full registration from the Department of Education & Employment in 1999

What of those original 8? All eight have now graduated, obtaining the National Christian Schools Certificate and going on to universities and/or employment
